  • 1/2 tsp. Red Boat fish sauce
  • 1 large clove garlic, finely minced
  • 2-inch long piece of ginger, thinly sliced
  • 1 red chili pepper, seeds removed and thinly sliced
  • 1 scallion, bulbs cut into 3-inch lengths

Instructions

  1. Begin by thinly slicing the beef against the grain. This ensures a tender texture in your final dish.
  2. In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with 2 tsp. of coconut aminos and 1/2 tsp. of Red Boat fish sauce. Toss until the beef is evenly coated in the marinade. Allow the beef to marinate for at least 20 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  3. Heat a pan over medium heat and lightly spray it with cooking spray. Once the pan is hot, lower the heat to medium and add the marinated beef. Stir-fry until the beef is no longer pink, then transfer it to a bowl and set it aside.
  4. In the same pan, add a bit more cooking spray if needed. Add the sliced ginger, minced garlic, red chili peppers, and scallion bulbs. Sauté the mixture over medium to medium-high heat until fragrant, stirring frequently to prevent burning.
  5. Season the mixture with a small pinch of salt to enhance the flavors.
  6. Return the stir-fried beef to the pan, along with the green portions of the scallions. Toss everything together to combine, ensuring that the beef is evenly coated with the aromatic mixture.
