Dr. Chris Hosenfeld is a Board-Certified Chiropractic Rehabilitation Doctor. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from University of Missouri-Columbia before receiving his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis.
Dr. Chris founded Hosenfeld Chiropractic (which is now Apple Healthcare) in 1987. He has served as the team chiropractor for St. Louis Golden Gloves, Knoxville Rugby Club, Knoxville Gymnastic Training Center, Premier Gymnastics Center, and the Knoxville Cherokees Hockey Team. Since 1998 he has been one of the team chiropractors for the University of Tennessee’s Athletic Department.
His practice emphasis combines the art, science and philosophy of chiropractic with physical therapy, athletic training and regenerative medicine. This combination of services, along with a team of providers covering multiple specialties, helps Apple’s patients reach their best health outcomes.
He has been a member of the Tennessee Chiropractic Association since 1987 and served on the TCA Board of Directors for several years. He is also a member of the American Chiropractic Association, the ACA’s Diagnostic Imaging Center and the Foundation for Chiropractic Education and Research. He and his family are members of Sequoia Hills Presbyterian Church.
Dr. Chris has been happily married over 30 years to his wife Lynn. He is the proud father of three children and has one grandchild. His passion is his profession and he is a self-acknowledged workaholic. He enjoys lifting weights, gardening, biking and spending time with his family.
