Provider Name(s): Dr. Cole (Hosenfeld)

How did you hear about our group?
I go to Bible study and a workout group with several of the staff!

How long have you been a patient?
About 2 years.

What was your medical issue (in your own words) when you first started coming to our office?
I have tendonitis in my right shoulder. It flared up and began affecting my daily life, even becoming hard for me to raise my arm. I’ve also had migraines for most of my life, which have been treated with various levels of success.

Tell us a little bit about your experience in our office:
Anytime I come to the office, I’m always greeted by someone who knows me. Everyone is friendly, and I’m taken to the treatment area quickly. People know what is going on in my life, not just my treatment.

How would you describe your health now?
My health is definitely better. I’ve been given tools that help me recognize problems before they develop. I’ve also learned to recognize my limits and when to stop pushing myself. The therapies are for overall health, not specific to a single area.

How has your improved health changed your life overall?
I have the confidence that I have the tools I need to do what I want to do. I no longer wonder whether my shoulder is strong enough to do things I want to do. Because of the treatment and therapies I’ve received, I know I have the strength and mobility I need.

What is something that you are proud of (or looking forward to) now that you are feeling better?
I completed a mud run this fall, which is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time. It was a lot of fun!

Is there anything that you have noticed about our office that sets us apart from other clinics?
Each patient is looked at and treated as an entire person, not a sum of ailments and medical conditions. The staff knows me, and treats me, not my health issues.

Notes from Dr. Cole Hosenfeld: “Reggie is fun to work with. She struggles like all of us with the balancing act of life, work and health. Her perseverance is impressive.”
